As many of you are aware, there has been much discussion regarding a potential labor action impacting NJ Transit rail service. Any labor action is anticipated to occur after 12:01AM, March 13, 2016. NJ Transit has conducted a press conference on 03/03/16 to address some of the plans that they have been developing. Planning for disruptions, anticipated or sudden, are certainly key elements of any robust continuity plan. This potential labor action will effect rail service only, bus service will not be effected. NYC EM is coordinating and developing vehicular traffic plans between NJ and NY, and will provide further guidance in the near future. NYC Waterways is anticipating additional bus service to their ferry terminals. Please check the NJ transit website for additional information. www.njtransit.com.
